Open and Closed Frames

Open Frame:

An Open Frame is when the camera is placed loosely in the scene and makes the viewer ask more questions about the surroundings and events that are happening. It will concentrate on certain things that could be important to the story or not at all.

Closed Frame:

A Closed frame shows the audience everything in the scene answering any questions about the surroundings. This could be considered boring because you feel there is less to explore and you aren't as interested.
